Digital Audio Workstations

DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is the newest video editor I have worked with and is one I took to very quickly. It is very simple to use and pack many powerful tools. I have edited many films and videos on Resolve and have developed a speedy workflow that makes editing very simple. Because of this, Resolve has been my new go to and is a video editor I am extremely comfortable with.

Pro Tools

During my time at Western Michigan University I have had the opportunity to work in Pro Tools on a number of projects. This including multitrack recording, clip editing, and audio processing. All of which has given me a comfortable understanding of the software and its capabilities.

Logic Pro

I have been working in Logic Pro for the past two years. Over this time, I have gotten very familiar with the workflow of the DAW. I have created many musical compositions with Logic and I tend to gravitate to it when I need to create music. I also have an understanding of most Logic Pro stock Plug-ins as I have used them for school as well as in my free time.

FL Studio

FL Studio is a DAW I am very familiar with and comfortable using. It was one of the first DAWs I started using due to its accessibility and affordability. I still use it to make demo tracks or other compositions I may need.

Cubase/Nuendo

I have Cubase and Nuendo for a variety of audio projects. Most of these pertain to video, such as making sound fx and syncing them, recording ADR, and mixing in surround sound. These skills have given me an intimate understand of Cubase and Nuendo as well as Dolby Atmos. Using Western Michigan University's immersive audio lab, I have created many Atmos mixes in 5.1, 7.1, and 7.4.1.
